in a quiet town in western new york state, college freshman gabi bishara learns that she has been chosen by lucifer to be the antichrist. wanting no involvement in the end of the world, gabi decides she must convince the grand satan to give the position to someone else. while she searches for a gate to hell, she becomes a firsthand witness to conflict among heaven's angels, the search for the new christ, and meets demons who will do anything to protect her.
